Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information ALLETS collects when you use allets.online, why, and the choices you have. We aim to follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and similar privacy laws.

1. Information we collect

Account details: your email address, name and profile picture if you sign in with Google, or your email and an encrypted password if you sign up with email.
What you create: the ideas you type, the stories, characters, adverts, quizzes and other output, and your library of saved work.
Usage information: how many creations you make each day, your trial and plan dates, and basic technical logs (such as errors) used to keep the service safe and working.
Payment information: payments are handled by Flutterwave. We receive a payment reference and the result (paid or not). We do not receive or store your card number.

2. How we use it

To sign you in, create and save your work, apply your trial and plan limits, take and confirm payments, prevent abuse, fix problems, and contact you about your account. We may email you about your free trial, your plan and new features; you can opt out of marketing emails at any time.

3. AI providers

To write your content, the ideas and text you submit are sent to AI providers, currently Google (Gemini) and, when enabled, Anthropic (Claude). They process the text to produce the result. Please do not enter passwords, bank details or other sensitive personal information into ALLETS.

4. Who else handles your data

We use trusted services to run ALLETS: Google Firebase (sign-in), Cloudflare (hosting, security and storage of your saved work), Flutterwave (payments) and our email provider. They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies and local storage

ALLETS uses your browser’s local storage to remember your theme and keep a copy of your saved stories on your device, and sign-in services use cookies or similar storage to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account and saved work while your account is open. If you delete a story it is removed from your account. You can ask us to delete your account and all saved work, and we will do so within a reasonable time, except where we must keep limited records for legal or payment reasons.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information, or object to certain uses, by contacting us. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

8. Security and children

We use encryption in transit and access controls, but no online service is perfectly secure. ALLETS is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
